Saint Patricks Day Celebrations

Saint Patricks Day Celebrations

Looking for a great location to celebrate Saint Patricks Day?  Decatur has multiple options for consideration.

The Marlay House (Formerly The Grange)

Decatur Saint Patricks Day

Tim and I first visited this family owned and operated Irish pub restaurant last fall just before a high school football game between Decatur HS and Lovett.

We had a delightful pub inspired meal.  No doubt they will be rolling out a plethora of Irish treats for Saint Patricks Day.

Enjoy an authentic Irish menu and Irish music as you sip your Harp.

James Joyce Irish Pub

James Joyce

Dropped in the James Joyce Irish Pub after a swim meet in Avondale.   We had a great pub meal and the atmosphere is great.  Fish and chips were our choice but lots of options.

How could you not love an Irish Pub named after James Joyce?

MY PLANS for Saint Patricks Day

I am hoping the luck of the Irish will be with me as I put a corned beef purchased at Kroger on the English Home Range.  I plan to serve it up with boiled cabbage and some Harp my good friend Walter Dupre left at our home over the weekend.

May the luck of the Irish be with you this week.
