Meet Sally English
Atlanta is both my childhood home and the community I have chosen to live in as a parent and a discerning consumer. Growing up in Atlanta was much different than living in Atlanta today. Atlanta was a “wannabe” metropolitan area when I was attending Henderson High School (DeKalb County) in the early 70’s. My father, Bill Bryant, was President of the Metropolitan Atlanta Homebuilders Association, and houses were springing up where pastures and dairies had formerly been located. Also, the Atlanta Braves were perennial losers and arts were just not a part of the Atlanta scene. Things are much different in Atlanta today. The Braves brought home a world series pennant, Atlanta has hosted the Olympics and we have a booming arts community.
After High School I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. I graduated in the Class of ‘79 with a dual degree in Engineering and Mathematics. I also met my husband Tim at Vanderbilt. After Vanderbilt I joined Westinghouse Electric and began the “see America” corporate tour. Westinghouse sent me to Atlanta, Boston, Birmingham and finally to New York City where I worked in the Industrial Sales Division while my husband attended graduate school at Columbia University. After Tim graduated from Columbia we made the executive decision to move back to Atlanta to rejoin our family.
My real estate career hit the ground running as I started a homebuilding company and small real estate brokerage. This worked great for the years prior to the birth of my third child in 1992. After that I made the move over to real estate sales and have been there ever since.
Professionally, I hold the industry’s highest designations (CRS, GRI, CDPE and SRES) and hold a State of Georgia Brokers license. My business has continued to grow over the years because of referrals from previous clients. This has allowed me to achieve multi-million dollar performances each year and to hold RE/MAX’s highest designations. The English Team consistently ranks among the top performers in metro Atlanta.
Why do I do what I do – I love it. I enjoy helping people find their dream home or move off on a journey to a new city. I’m a people person with good financial skills. Most of all – I work with integrity and seek to gain the trust and approval of all my clients. I look forward to making your home dreams come true.
“Real estate is our second language.”
