Great to be a Georgia Bulldawg (or an Atlanta Falcon or a GT YellowJacket)
What an amazing a week for football in Atlanta Georgia.
Thursday night the Atlanta Falcons gave the New Orleans Saints a much needed butt whooping in the Georgia Dome (Who Dat).
It seems like a lifetime since Atlanta has held the upper hand in this series. And the Saints have made it hard to forget who holds the upper hand. Finally, we have a Falcons team capable of physically dominating the hated “aints”.
Friday night we had Georgia High School football state playoff games.
I am totally enjoying the coverage on PBS.
Today (Saturday) we have both the Georgia Bulldawgs and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets playing for Conference Championships.
And the winner of the SEC Championship game in the Georgia Dome is guaranteed a spot in the national championship game.
I love football season.
My youngest daughter, Hannah, is a Sophomore at UGA and she and a friend are headed down to the Dome to cheer their team to victory. It’s great to be a Georgia Bulldawg.
I say “Go Dawgs, Sic em” and to my Yellow Jacket Fans “Give em hell, Georgia Tech”
