Work on Tucker Main Street Continues

Work on Tucker Main Street Continues and a revitalized city center is one the way. With the pretty spring weather contractors were out in force today as the improvements to Tucker’s Main street continue.  When finished the new curb, side walks, green areas and signage should make the street a lot more visually appealing.

The effort to draw more pedestrians, shoppers and visitors to Tucker has been slowed down by winter weather but we have seen the work force going full bore these last few days.

Tucker is a great place to visit.  We have super restaurants, fun shops and lots of friendly people.

Note – the revitalized Tucker Main Street turned out to be a magnet for shoppers, people dining out, farmers market shoppers and people attending public events in Tucker.  The vision to transform the old Main Street to a vibrant living pedestrian space was genius.  The relocation of all the utility lines must have been a huge hassle but the end effect has been rewarding.Work on Tucker Main Street has been a complete success and the Civic pride generated bu the project contributed to the Tucker Cityhood effort.  The City of Tucker is best defined – in my opinion, by the revitalized Tucker Main Street.
