“This might be helpful either in the flyer or the Internet listing, but we have great neighbors, and live on a fairly quiet street. There’s no thru traffic. Grocery stores, the library, post office, Sam’s, Wal-Mart, Staples, Handy ACE are less than five minutes away, as well as a bunch of restaurants/places to eat. We are less than 10 minutes from three nice parks/playground areas. Our part of Tucker is also right next to Clarkston and Stone Mountain. It’s less than ten minutes to Stone Mountain Park, ~12 minutes to the DeKalb Farmer’s Market and less than 15 minutes to downtown Decatur. But maybe that’s covered in the whole convenient to midtown, downtown, CDC/Emory thing?”
Wow, each statement is so true. Classic Village subdivision in Tucker Georgia does have location, location, location. Tucker has an amazing array of convenient services, shops and restaurants. And it is just a shop hop to major destinations like Stone Mountain Park, Decatur – the new dining mecca of the southeast, and the DeKalb Farmers market. PLUS it is an easy commute to most of the major employment centers in Atlanta. I would also add to Ann’s description that it is easy to get to the airport from Tucker. You can jump on I-285 south, avoid all the in-town congestion, and arrive at Hartsfield International Airport in just minutes.
