Atlanta Housing Market Heats Up

The Atlanta Housing Market has started to heat up this summer.

 The local weatherman predicts Atlanta temperatures will heat up to 103 degrees F Friday which is the highest temperature I can recall in recent history.

Likewise the local Atlanta real estate market has reached levels of activity we have not experienced in quite some time.  See a recap of some of the English Teams activities this week:

Two closings yesterday.  We haven’t had two closing days recently.

 

 

Sally English and The English Team listed, marketed and sold this home on Braithwood Drive Atlanta 30345 for Alan Hay.  It was one of two closings for the day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sally English represented buyers Lydia and Jay in the pruchase of 226 Knob Hill Circle Decatur Ga 30033.  This home priced in the high 200s had been on the market since 2007 and the developer sold it at a bargain price.

 

 

 

 

 

This home on Evelynn Rd (Tucker GA 30084 address but right smack in the middle of the Northlake Mall Shopping district) went under contract last week and will close in July.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The home we had listed on Henley Park Drive GA 30341 went under contract this week.  It has been on the market almost 2 years.

We have also written contracts on several homes and are negotiating contracts on the sale of several other listings.
