Eggtoberfest 2015 with Sally EnglishIMG_0668IMG_0654 IMG_0655Fun and food were enjoyed by many at Eggtoberfest 2015 with Sally English held at Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta Georgia.  A $40 entry fee bought tastings from the grills on dozens of Big Green Egg ers who competed for prizes and 15 European Chefs who used their skills to create something new with the Big Green Egg grill.

Plus we received a bag full of Big Green Egg bling including a drinking mug, kitchen towels, t-Shirt (way cool) and other assorted goodies.  From 10 am until 3 pm we did our best to taste it all.  But we never finished the circuit before leaving to go show a house.  OMG this was a wonderful fall festival.  Put it on your calendar for next year.

My new friend is Isis Breath (?) a chef from Holland who did an exhibition preparing oysters on the big green egg.  He also recommends we eat with your hands to get full enjoyment of our food.  I loved his food and found him incredibly entertaining.

We are already making plans to attend Eggtoberfest 2016.  Tim has been an unofficial  ambassador for Big Green Egg ever since his purchase of the XL Big Green Egg grill.  If you want to get more involved in preparing dinner for family and friends – buy tickets to Eggtoberfest.  Once the two of you see all the possibilities for preparing delicious meals with Big Green Egg – you will always have a helper for family gatherings and partys.  Heck – you can probably get two or three meals a week out of him
